TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.            This promotional competition is organised by Mobicred (Pty) Ltd (NCR 10896) (“Mobicred”) and Samsung South Africa (collectively the “Promoters”)

2.            All participants agree to be bound by these rules.

3.            Promotion period: The promotion commences on 18 December 2023 and will terminate on 31 December 2023.

4.            Nature of Reward (the “Reward”) and How to Qualify:

A customer will be entered into a lucky draw to win a Samsung voucher  Gift Card  to the value of R4 000, on completion of a successful purchase of  any Samsung product to the value of R500 or more on the Samsung South Africa online store (https://www.samsung.com/za/) within the campaign period, using Mobicred to complete the payment .

5.            Value of the Reward: R4 000 Samsung voucher . Mastercard gift card. The gift card will be valid until 20 August 2026 & can be used to purchase at any participating retailer.

6.            Service to which promotion relates: Online Mobicred purchase on the Samsung South Africa Online store (https://www.samsung.com/za/)

7.            Customer Value Proposition Details:

•             To quality for entry, a customer who has an account with Mobicred and whose account is in good standing would need to use their Mobicred facility to successfully make a purchase  to the value of R500 or more on Samsung South Africa’s online store.

•             Multiple entries are allowed, eEach successful qualifying transaction qualifies as an entry into the draw.

•             If a refund is processed on the transaction or the item is returned within 2 weeks of the purchase date, the entry is deemed to be null and void.

8.            How to qualify: All customers must abide by the below points to qualify

•             Complete a successful Mobicred transaction as per clause 7 prescribed above, on Samsung South Africa’s online store.

•             The customer will automatically be entered into a lucky draw to win the reward.

•             Mobicred will be responsible for ensuring that all verified entries will be placed into a draw on Monday, January 15th 2024. 

9.            Prize fulfilment:

•             The winner will be determined by way of a random draw, or if not applicable, will be chosen by judge/s selected by Mobicred, which judge/s may be employees of Mobicred.

•             The promotional reward is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. This promotion cannot be granted in conjunction with any other promotional competition by Mobicred within the campaign period.

•             The prize will be fulfilled and delivered by Mobicred upon determination of a valid Winner.

10.         Promotional competition notification: The Winning customer will be notified via email and/or SMS and/or phone call. The Winner will have 3 working days to claim the reward, after which the selection will become void and a new Winner will be drawn. The Winner must make contact with Mobicred in order to claim the reward.

11.         Limitations:

•             Competitions are not open to those persons who are a director, member, partner, employee or agent of the Promoter, any consultant to the Promoter, as well as any family members of the Promoter’s employees, and any other person who is controlled by the Promoter.

•             No reward will be awarded to any person to whom such prize may not be legally awarded including, but not limited to, minors under the age of 18 years.

12.         Customer responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the personal contact details captured on the Mobicred database system are complete, accurate and up to date.

13.         Customer Undertaking: Customer acknowledges that he/she shall only receive the Reward upon fulfilment of the criteria contained in clause 7 and 8.

14.         Disclaimer: Mobicred, its associated companies, agents and service providers/co-promoters involved in the promotional competition assumes no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, and/or any other claims arising in connection with this promotional competition.

15.         System Failure: Mobicred will not be responsible for loss, delayed and/or misdirected electronic messages, internet of computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond control of Mobicred which may cause the entry into the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted.

16.         Cancellation: Mobicred reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, to cancel, extend or suspend this promotional competition. If so, and to the extent permitted by law, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse in such event against Mobicred, its associated companies, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, sponsors and/or co-promoter.

17.         The customer understands and accepts that, during its engagement with the Promoters, the Promoters may collect and process personally identifiable information about the customer to allow the customer entry to be credited automatically with the Promotional Competition Offer. Such processing of information will be in line with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”).
